I’ve been thinking deeply about technological evolution and some fascinating parallels that emerge across different domains:

– Physical & Digital:

Atoms ➡️ Bits ➡️ Hybrid Systems

From the tangible, physical world to the digital revolution, and now to the fusion of both—centralized locally, but still controlled by institutions.

-Computing Infrastructure:

Mainframe ➡️ Cloud ➡️ On-Premise

From centralized power to decentralized access, and now back to local control—semi-centralized, yet closer to the user.

-Power Distribution:

Centralized ➡️ Locally Centralized ➡️ Decentralized & Self-Directed

A shift from top-down control to localized systems, and ultimately toward decentralization and individual empowerment.

Is this related to education? More than you think. Welcome to the other side of Cognitive and Learning Sciences.

I’m exploring this further and will share some more insights on these parallels soon, as I firmly believe the future is decentralized and self-directed. How about you?
